INT. ROYAL CHAMBERS - AFRICA - DAY
BLACK CAESAR (mid-20s, tall, regal), an African prince, sits on a throne of intricate wood carvings. His face is a mask of nobility as he listens to the pleas of his UNCLE (50s, wise, strong), a griot whose words hold power.
UNCLE
(whispers urgently)
You must bring our cousins back from the clutches of the slavers. They are family. They are royalty.
BLACK CAESAR
(determined)
I will not rest until they are free.
The uncle's eyes gleam with pride as he places a map of the New World on the table.
UNCLE
(pointing)
Here, in the Americas, they lie in wait. We must be cautious, for the waters are treacherous and the men who took them, treacherous still.
Black Caesar nods solemnly. His mind races with the gravity of his mission.
INT. THE BETRAYAL - AFRICAN PORT - DAY
Thirty days later, Black Caesar boards a ship under false pretenses, accompanied by his uncle and a loyal guard. They are met with deceit and treachery as their supposed allies turn on them, led by a cunning TRADER (40s, greedy).

You should have known better than to trust a white man's promise.
The traitorous crew surrounds them, weapons drawn.
UNCLE
(wrathful)
May your ship be swallowed by the sea, and may the gods curse your line for eternity!
The Trader laughs, not heeding the words.
BLACK CAESAR
(firm)
We shall meet again.
Their eyes lock in silent understanding as the uncle is brutally struck down, the curse echoing through the air.
INT. THE FORCED VOYAGE - SHIP'S HOLD - NIGHT
The scene shifts to the ship's dank hold, where Black Caesar is now shackled. He refuses food and water, his spirit unbroken.
SAILOR (mid-30s, weary but kind) approaches with a bowl of gruel.
SAILOR
You can't survive on anger alone.

I will not eat from the hand that enslaved me.
The Sailor sees the pain in Black Caesar's eyes and leaves the bowl, retreating into the shadows.
INT. THE FORCED VOYAGE - SHIP'S DECK - DAY
Days pass. The Sailor returns to check on Black Caesar, finding him unchanged.
SAILOR
(softly)
You're not just a prince anymore. You're a symbol of hope for those who've lost everything.

What is your name, sailor?

INT. PIRATE SHIP - DAY
The camera sweeps across the deck of the Wild Stallion, a pirate ship in the zenith of its glory. The crew, a diverse assembly of nationalities and races, works diligently, scrubbing and repairing under the vigilant supervision of Captain Benjamin Flint, a stern yet just leader. Standing beside him is his young first mate, a striking black man with muscles akin to iron and a gaze as sharp as steel. Flint views him not only as a son but also as his most reliable confidant.
Suddenly, the ship ROCKS as a cannonball narrowly misses the hull, sending a SPRAY of sea water over the starboard side. The crew SCAMPERS to their stations, a mix of fear and excitement etched on their faces.
CAPTAIN FLINT
(to his first mate)
Sound the alarm! Let's show these scurvy dogs what we're made of!
The FIRST MATE nods, a man of few words, and runs to the crow's nest to sound the alarm. The ship is in CHAOS as the crew prepares for battle.
INT. CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS - CONTINUOUS
CAPTAIN FLINT calmly checks his pistols and swords as his FIRST MATE, STEVENS, enters, panting.

INT. SHIP'S BOW - CONTINUOUS
The camera FOLLOWS the crew as they RACE to the bow, where a group of black pirates, including the towering BLACK CAESAR, are preparing the cannons.
BLACK CAESAR
(to the crew)
Remember, lads, aim true and don't let 'em get too close!
The crew NODS, looking to Black Caesar for leadership and reassurance.
THE WILD STALLION - DAY
Captain Benjamin Flint's diverse crew, including the renowned Black Caesar, prepares for battle as a Royal Navy ship approaches. Despite the imminent danger, Captain Flint remains composed and relies on his unconventional tactics. The ROYAL NAVY ship looms LARGER in the horizon.
CAPTAIN FLINT (to the helmsman)
"Hard to port! We'll outmaneuver 'em!"
The helmsman complies, and the ship swerves sharply, avoiding another volley of cannon fire. The pirate crew CHEERS, feeling the adrenaline of victory within their grasp.
On the enemy ship, CAPTAIN ROYAL, a seasoned naval commander, fumes at the pirates' audacity.
CAPTAIN ROYAL (stoically to his first mate)
"They think they can outfox us? Signal the fleet! We'll show them the might of the Royal Navy!
The first mate nods and relays the message via a series of FLAG SIGNALS. The fleet of five more navy ships emerges from the horizon, surrounding the WILD STALLION.
CAPTAIN FLINT (to the crew)
"Steady your nerves, mates! We've seen worse odds and come out on top!"
The pirates brace themselves, determination in their eyes. The Royal Navy closes in with additional ships, but Captain Flint remains confident, inspiring his crew to stand firm against the overwhelming odds. The battle is intense, cannons ROARING and wooden ships GROANING under the strain. The WILD STALLION takes significant damage, but the pirates' superior gunnery skills keep the navy at bay.
BLACK CAESAR stands tall on the bow, directing the cannon fire with precision. A stray shot from a navy ship hits a pirate, and the crew watches in horror as their comrade falls overboard.
CAPTAIN FLINT (to Black Caesar)
Take the helm! We need to break the line!
Black Caesar nods and strides to the helm, taking control of the ship. The pirate ship makes a daring move, cutting through the navy's formation. The navy ships are momentarily disorganized, and the WILD STALLION uses the opportunity to sail away. The fleet attempts pursuit, but the pirate ship's speed and agility outmatch them.
During a fierce battle, the Wild Stallion sustains damage, but Black Caesar's strategic cannon fire and Captain Flint's daring maneuver allow them to break the navy's formation and escape. The crew of the WILD STALLION tends to their INJURIES and repair the ship as they sail into the open sea. BLACK CAESAR joins CAPTAIN FLINT in his quarters for a tense debrief.
CAPTAIN FLINT (to Black Caesar)
Your skills saved us today. We need a plan to avoid the navy in the future.
BLACK CAESAR
"I suggest raiding the less-guarded trade routes closer to the African coast, I know the of the threats of the waters."
CAPTAIN FLINT considers this, realizing the potential for greater riches and less interference. The two devise a plan through the night to elude the navy and expand their operations. Meanwhile, the crew whispers about the legend of Black Caesar's past as a feared warrior a prince of his people and shrewd tactician. His reputation grows among the men, solidifying his place as a trusted and respected member of the crew.
As the WILD STALLION approaches the African coast, the crew spots a merchant vessel ripe for the taking, Captain Benjamin Flint and his diverse crew, with Black Caesar's pivotal role, prepare for and engage in a tense naval battle with the Royal Navy, utilizing Black Ceasar's unique tactics to gain the upper hand.

I don't take kindly to uninvited guests, especially those with a reputation like yours.
ANNE BONNY
(laughs)
Ah, but think of what we could do together, Captain. With your cunning and my fire, we could rule these waters.
BLACK CAESAR
(intervenes)
We're not looking to rule, just to live free.
ANNE BONNY
(looks at Black Caesar)
And I'm not looking to start a war with the Navy. But we can't ignore the opportunities before us.

Show them the color of our resolve!

The Spanish captain is caught off-guard, his eyes wide with fear.
SPANISH CAPTAIN
Prepare to be boarded!

Indeed, we do.
